Once a franchisee makes the commitment to join The Rub BBQ food franchise, our expert training and ongoing support jump into action – we don’t just take fees and leave franchisees to it!
- After joining our network, a franchisee will be trained in all our systems and processes.
- All our training is 1:1, delivered by people who use the systems and is fully supported by a set of Operations Manuals.
- We will work with a franchisee to implement a marketing and social media plan that gets the business successfully launched and running.
- We will even “hold your hands” through an initial launch event, and won’t let go until you are 100% ready!
- Our supply chain will ensure that all the key products are delivered to you in a timely manner and of the highest quality.

Our business model is based on a number of key fees:
- A franchise fee that includes a Starter Package for each franchisee as well as a licence to operate under The Rub BBQ name
- A fixed Monthly Management Services Fee
- A Fixed Monthly Marketing Fee that is used to promote the brand nationally and in your territory
Your major investment will be in the purchase of the food truck or container and its fit out to our brand standard. Once we have had an initial chat with you, we will share all the detailed financial models with you, together with the full costs.
Marketing and advertising
To ensure a successful launch and long-term growth, you will have the option to work with our recommended marketing and advertising partner, Zenif. Having worked with The Rub BBQ for over five years, Zenif has a deep understanding of our brand and a proven track record for delivering exceptional results.
While also managing our national campaign, Zenif will collaborate with you on:
Brand presence setup
The process will begin with setting up your company emails, building an area-specific landing page on our website and creating a Google Business Profile for your location.
Launch marketing
Your launch campaign with Zenif will begin months before your opening date and will include flyer drops, social media ads, PR, and more, designed to build traction in your area.
Ongoing marketing
Following your launch, you will continue to work with Zenif to grow your franchise. Your marketing fee will be used towards Google and social media ads, an SEO campaign and regular flyer drops, with the option to scale up with additional services.
