Description Of Event

Luke and Josh Striffler-Berg had a gorgeous wedding in Eastfield Farm Barns over in Melchbourne. A very unique venue nestled in ten acres of Bedfordshire countryside. Both grooms were actors living in Vegas but wanted the perfect English wedding.

What We Had To Offer

We offer all of our couples looking for a wedding menu a tasting session, where we can get an idea of what it is they are looking to offer at the event. As both grooms lived overseas, they gave us an idea of what they wanted; however, Josh’s parents came to the wedding tasting and assisted with choosing the iconic menu pieces.

What The Client Had

Luke and Josh went for a couple of different styles of food for their wedding. They first opted for a delicious breakfast for 80 of their guests. Mains included Marinated King Prawns, Smoked Beef Brisket in a Brioche Bun, Halloumi Burgers, Jackfruit. They also decided to go with a couple of sides which included BBQ Pit Beans, Spicy Rice Salad, Summer Slaw, Minted Potato Salad. The food was served to the guests via table service in the beautifully converted barn.

Throughout the day we also offered guests a range of canapes. Mini Chicken Skewers, Smoked Tofu Skewers and Caprese Salad made their way around the venue.

In the evening, a few more guests turned up, and of course, there were over 100 hungry bellies from all the dancing! The evening food was served through our converted Horsebox which worked well with not only the wedding venue but also the high winds. The street style evening menu included BBQ Chicken Wings, Mac N Cheese and Chana Massala Chat.

To accompany the food, Bells & Whistles mobile bar provided the guest with drinks into the evening. They also had the most amazing selection of Gins.

Customer Testimonial

We are delighted with the way everything turned out for the event! The Rub BBQ did such an amazing job; we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more.
